In Person Consultations
If you have been to one of our workshops, you will have a foundation of knowledge that 95% of the population doesn’t have. This is an excellent starting point for us to discuss your personal situation and how we might be able to help you. Each family is different, so what worked for your brother or neighbor’s family might not work for you.
In our one-hour consultation, we will review your finances and how they impact the 8 different areas that are considered during the financial aid process. We’ll calculate a ballpark Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and discuss how our services might impact that number. Most families can lower their EFC by proper asset titling and allocation.
We’ll also discuss if our “Parent Kit” might be beneficial to you. Our parent kit is designed to give an education to parents in the area of college financial planning. It’s the “Do It Yourself” approach which is often what many of our clients want as a first step in the process.
At the end of the hour, you will have a ballpark EFC, answers to most (if not all) of the questions generated from the workshop, and understanding if we can help you further, and a set of next steps in the process. Please email us at team@familycollegeplan.com or call us at one of our 3 locations to set up a consultation.
